Patrick was born in October 1955 in Bayonne, Patrick Reault is a contemporary French painter.
At first he was an actor and musician in a band in Clermont-Ferrand before starting a career as a painter in Marseille at the beginning of the 80s.
A self-taught artist, he drew day and night in a basement in search of a game of lights inspired by two great reference masters: Nicolas de Stael and William Turner.
He sold his first watercolors on the docks of the old ports of Marseille before returning to Paris. His first technique evolved, passing from watercolor to oil until he finally chose acrylics which gives him more freedom to create colorful landscapes.
Patrick Reault's works have been exhibited in Asia, the United States and France, and are part of some private collections around the world.
